DTW Law Enforcement Training

Chris Whitehead is currently a Sergeant, District Range Master, and Senior Firearms Instructor with a Federal Law Enforcement Agency in Kansas City. He is also a Missouri P.O.S.T. class A certified Peace Officer and serves as a Reserve Police Officer with the Village of Oakview, Missouri Police Department and with the Bates City, Missouri Police Department.

Sgt. Whitehead began his Law Enforcement career in 1993 while attending the Kansas City Missouri Police Department, Regional Police Training Academy after being hired and sponsored by the Independence, Missouri Police Department. After completing the academy, Sgt. Whitehead worked as a reserve Police Officer until hired full-time with the Independence Police Department in September of 1994. He remained with the Independence Police Department as a patrol officer through April of 1999, then attended Central Missouri State University through 2001 when he began his employment in Federal Law Enforcement.
