DTW Personal Defense Courses

Personal Defense for Concealed Carry Permit Holders and Home/Personal Defense.

The basic personal defense course is an 8 hour class offered at $200.00 per student. Individual and group courses are available for 1 to 5 students per class. Instruction includes:

• Equipment and weapon selection
• Holster/Rig familiarization
• Combat Marksmanship
• Reactive Shooting
• Shooting and moving
• Movement while shooting
• Multiple attacker tactics
• Out of position reaction
• Malfunctions and immediate action under stress
• Survival Mindset
• Legal considerations for the armed citizen

In addition to the basic course, supplemental training is available for a standard fee of $25.00 per hour. Additional hourly sessions reinforce and advance personal protective skills and mindset.

Discounts

Larger groups and referrals will result in discounts as follows:

• Groups of 3 receive 10% off per student for all services including the initial 8 hour course
• Groups of 4 receive 15% off per student for all services including the initial 8 hour course
• Groups of 5 receive 20% off per student for all services including the initial 8 hour course
• $2.50 per hour discount for additional/advanced training for each new client referral who attends the initial 8 hour course (up to 4 referrals).

Courses can be scheduled in 2 to 8 hour lengths in order to meet your schedule needs.

Range fees for live fire training will be an additional charge not to exceed $12.00 per hour and will be paid directly to the facility used during training.
